Football Recap: Eau Claire Victorious

Williston-Elko came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Eau Claire, but KYLE WALKER wouldn't allow it. The Shamrocks took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 34-7 win over the Blue Devils with plenty of help from WALKER, who rushed for 70 yards and one TD on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Eau Claire's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Williston-Elko, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Eau Claire will square off against Ridge Spring-Monetta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Williston-Elko, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fox Creek at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
