Basketball Recap: Jones' Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jones had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They took down the Zapata Hawks 47-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2016.

Jones has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Zapata, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Jones wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-45 defeat against Devine on the 13th. Zapata has also already played their next match, a 63-39 loss against Legacy School of Sport Sciences on the 12th.
