Baseball Recap: Pocola Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chouteau-Mazie on Thursday, Pocola came back down to earth. The Indians lost 9-3 to the Checotah Wildcats on Friday.

Pocola dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Checotah, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pocola will venture away from home to square off against Muldrow at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Checotah, they will head out to challenge Eufaula at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
