Softball Game Preview: Highland Rams vs. Skyline Eagles

Highland hasn't had much luck against Skyline recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Highland has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Highland lost 19-7 to Juan Diego Catholic on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Skyline came up short against Bountiful on Thursday, falling 15-4.

Skyline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maya Jacobsen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Jacobsen has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Highland suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Skyline when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
