Estero has gone a perfect 4-0 against Gateway Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Estero will host Gateway Charter at 6:30 p.m. Estero is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.

Estero took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over Port Charlotte.

The team relied heavily on Makenzie Baxter, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ava Weinbaum, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Gateway Charter fell victim to Cape Coral and their airtight pitching crew last Friday. They came up short against the Seahawks, falling 7-0. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Estero pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Gateway Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Estero took their win against Gateway Charter in their previous meeting back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Estero repeat their success, or does Gateway Charter has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
