Football Recap: Patrick Henry Has No Trouble Against Franklin County + How To Watch

Patrick Henry had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Franklin County on Friday. The Patriots blew past the Eagles 36-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Patriots' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Eagles are ranked 98th).

Patrick Henry had a senior duo take command as Damarion Perdue gained 145 total yards and Cam Hairston-Taylor picked up 109 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Patrick Henry's run defense was locked in: Franklin County could only muster -0.7 yards per carry. The Patriots' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.1.

Quincy Pruett and Winston Davenport certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Pruett picked up 113 receiving yards and one score, while Davenport threw for 165 yards and a pair of TDs.
