Moshannon Valley and Mount Union squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Moshannon Valley had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-2. The Black Knights/Damsels' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Moshannon Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rocco Reifer, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Moshannon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Mount Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Moshannon Valley nor Mount Union have any future games scheduled.
