Clarkstown South faced Ursuline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings skirted past the Koalas 4-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won six contests in a row.

Clarkstown South's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Ursuline, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3.

Looking ahead, Clarkstown South will face off against Harrison at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. Ursuline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
