Baseball Game Preview: Westlake Demons vs. Rocky River Pirates

For the second straight game, Westlake will face off against Rocky River. The Demons will be playing at home against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Westlake has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Westlake fell victim to Rocky River and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Demons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Westlake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Brouillard, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases. Brouillard is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Rocky River pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Westlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
