Basketball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy and Lindblom squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Kennedy had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Lindblom Eagles, falling 75-37. The Crusaders have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Kennedy lost, don't look at Joseph Dahl. Despite the final result, he shot 42% from the field to rack up 17 points and five rebounds. Dahl is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ja'Veon Sargent-Williams, who posted eight points.

Kennedy's record now sits at 11-20. As for Lindblom, they moved to 12-17 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lindblom, they have already played their next matchup, a 56-54 loss against Hyde Park on the 28th.
