Delaware County Christian had won nine straight home games dating back to last season and Khamai Orange did his part to make it ten on Wednesday. The Delaware County Christian Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Plumstead Christian 69-32 thanks in part to Orange, who went 10 of 19 on his way to 28 points and five rebounds. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Matty, who posted five points and five steals. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
Delaware County Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Plumstead Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Delaware County Christian will take on Collegium Charter in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Delaware County Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Collegium Charter likes a good challenge. Plumstead Christian and Valley Forge Baptist Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Forge Baptist Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Plumstead Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
