Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 68-52 to the South Lenoir Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dark Horses this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-50 on December 10th.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Lenoir, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

When Clinton and South Lenoir next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Clinton will try to stop East Columbus' three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, South Lenoir will take on Lakewood and their three-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
