Archbishop Alter won the last time they faced Carroll and things went their way on Monday too. Archbishop Alter put the hurt on Carroll with a sharp 3-0 win.

Archbishop Alter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-21.

Channing Hawes paced Archbishop Alter's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hawes got some help from Charlie Hart and his 27 assists. Hart was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

The win got Archbishop Alter back to even at 1-1. As for Carroll, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
