Softball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for St. Paul

There's no place like home for St. Paul, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Western Christian Pioneers on Monday as they made off with a 25-9 victory. Considering the Buckaroos have won four matches by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Paul's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 16.8 runs this season. As for Western Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, St. Paul will host Clatskanie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Christian, they will head out to challenge Pleasant Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
