Lakewood extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 7-7 in the process. They came out on top against the Barry County Christian Eagles by a score of 7-2. Seven seems to be a good number for the Vikings as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

As for Barry County Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

For Barry County Christian's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Kammenzind, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
