Softball Recap: Colonia Comes Up Short

Colonia lost against Sayreville back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots fell 6-2 to the Bombers. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colonia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Sayreville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Colonia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Edison on the 3rd. As for Sayreville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Monroe Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
