Basketball Game Preview: Berrien Springs Shamrocks vs. Brandywine Bobcats

Berrien Springs hasn't had much luck against Brandywine recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Berrien Springs Shamrocks will head out to square off against the Brandywine Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Berrien Springs is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.

Berrien Springs is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Eau Claire, posting an 84-45 victory. The Shamrocks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Brandywine waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Mustangs as they made off with a 62-36 win.

Berrien Springs pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Brandywine, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Berrien Springs came up short against Brandywine in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 58-47. Can Berrien Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
