Pinewood Christian won the last time they faced St. Andrew and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Pinewood Christian Patriots' way against the St. Andrew's Lions as the Pinewood Christian Patriots made off with a 50-24 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 25 points or more this season.

St. Andrew's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Valerie Ward, who posted 15 points, and Gray Holmes, who put up two points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Ward a new career-high in points. Mackenzie Mahan also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Pinewood Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10. As for St. Andrew's, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Pinewood Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-43 win against Westminster Schools of Augusta on the 1st. As for St. Andrew's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-35 loss against Frederica Academy on the 4th.
