With a playoff win on the line, Salem Hills rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Wasatch Wasps as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Skyhawks, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Jocile Norman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Norman was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
