Lower Moreland and Morrisville are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lower Moreland's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Renaissance Academy to the tune of 41-0. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four games by 33 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Morrisville hadn't done well against New Hope-Solebury recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 22-13 win over the Lions.

Morrisville pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.7 points on average over those games. As for Lower Moreland, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Lower Moreland didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Morrisville in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
