Volleyball Recap: San Juan Comes Up Short

San Juan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Mesa Verde Mavericks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mesa Verde, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Coming up, San Juan will square off against Golden Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mesa Verde, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Foothill on the 3rd.
