Football Game Preview: Munster Mustangs vs. Highland Trojans

The Munster Mustangs will challenge the Highland Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Munster is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 44 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Hanover Central on Friday. They lost 30-10 to the Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Highland took a blow against Andrean on Friday, falling 52-13. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Fighting 59ers are ranked 80th).

Munster's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Munster's way against Highland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Munster made off with a 41-21 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Trojans' Jordan Tillman, who rushed for 98 yards and a pair of TDs.
