Basketball Game Preview: Sumrall Bobcats vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats + How To Watch

Sumrall will take on Presbyterian Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Sumrall was able to grind out a solid victory over Purvis, taking the game 55-42. The matchup marked the Bobcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

Ella Robertson and Kynlee Speed were among the main playmakers for Sumrall as the former posted 17 points and the latter put up 13 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The contest was Robertson's 17th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Cha'Dai Dillion, who scored seven points and seven rebounds.

Sumrall smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Presbyterian Christian had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 42-38 W over Mobile Christian on Tuesday.

Sumrall's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Presbyterian Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Sumrall suffered a grim 50-28 defeat to Presbyterian Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2021. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Sumrall was down 35-4.
