Football Recap: North Laurel Takes a Loss

North Laurel lost against Pulaski County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jaguars were beaten by the Maroons 49-19. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since November 5, 2021, but that streak is no more.

The defeat snapped North Laurel's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. As for Pulaski County, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Laurel will host South Laurel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Jaguars 14, the Cardinals 13.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Pulaski County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. The Maroons will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.13 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
