The Cedar Valley Aviators and the Bountiful RedHawks squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Cedar Valley Aviators had to settle for second. They were the victim of a rough 76-53 defeat at the hands of the RedHawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cedar Valley of the 74-56 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Despite the loss, Cedar Valley still got an impressive performance from Heath Christensen, who scored 20 points. Brennan Olsen was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Cedar Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Bountiful, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.
