Volleyball Recap: Daingerfield Takes a Loss

Daingerfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the New Diana Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.

Daingerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for New Diana, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Daingerfield will challenge rival Harmony at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Diana is set to take on their familiar foe Hughes Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
