After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, John Ehret was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over the Edna Karr Cougars. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on TYLER SVEINSON, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one stolen base. TYLER CRAWFORD was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

John Ehret's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Edna Karr, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Ehret will take on Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. John Ehret is facing Kennedy at the right time seeing as Kennedy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Edna Karr, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
