Basketball Recap: Grants Pass Takes a Loss

Grants Pass lost against North Medford back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grants Pass Cavemen took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Medford Black Tornado. The Cavemen's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

North Medford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nate Anderson out in front who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tate Snyder, who posted ten points and three steals.

Grants Pass' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for North Medford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Grants Pass will challenge Willamette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grants Pass is facing Willamette at the right time seeing as Willamette is stuck on a four-game losing streak. North Medford has already played their next matchup (against Sheldon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
