Baseball Recap: Eau Claire Comes Up Short

Eau Claire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bangor Vikings. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Beavers' highest-scoring game to date.

Eau Claire's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bangor, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Eau Claire will be playing in front of their home fans against New Buffalo at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bangor, they are taking a road trip to square off against Parchment at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
