Basketball Recap: Kiley Oldehoeft and Aniston Meints Secure Win for Exeter-Milligan/Friend

Exeter-Milligan/Friend put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 48-25 margin over the Sterling Jets. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 44-33 win the Jets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend was led to victory by Aniston Meints and Kiley Oldehoeft. Meints almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds, while Oldehoeft dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Those 13 rebounds gave Meints a new career-high. Reese Tuttle was another key player, putting up four points and three steals.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Sterling, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats challenge the Cross County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sterling, they will venture away from home to face off against Deshler at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
