Kellogg came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the St. Maries Lumberjacks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lumberjacks, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kellogg took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-7, 25-10.

Gretah Angle paced Kellogg's offense, picking up eight kills. Angle got some help from Ella Yrjana and her 16 assists. Yrjana was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Kellogg's record is now 6-0. As for St. Maries, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Kellogg will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grangeville at 4:00 p.m. As for St. Maries, they will head out to take on Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
