Preview: Ramona Rams vs. Arlington Lions
The Ramona Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Arlington Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ramona will be strutting in after a victory while Arlington will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Ramona got themselves on the board against La Sierra, but La Sierra never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 31-0 on the road.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-3, which was the final score in Arlington's tilt against Norte Vista on Friday. Arlington was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-3.
Ramona's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.3 points per game. As for Arlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Everything came up roses for Ramona against Arlington in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 42-0 win. Will Ramona repeat their success, or does Arlington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
