Volleyball Recap: Armuchee's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Armuchee lost against Gordon Lee back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Trojans. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Armuchee ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Armuchee still got an impressive performance from Ava Grace Crump, who had nine digs and three aces. Crump has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 30 times she's played.

Among those leading the charge was Kynidie Gaffin, who had 13 digs and five aces.

Armuchee's defeat dropped their record down to 24-14. As for Gordon Lee, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 34-10.

Armuchee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gordon Lee, they will face off against Darlington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
