With a playoff win on the line, Chico rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 35-6 victory over the Enterprise Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Among those leading the charge was Brave Curcio, who rushed for 36 yards and two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chico was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 331 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Enterprise's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Izaiah Mikell, who rushed for 68 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 203 yards on only 17 passes. 98 of Mikell's passing yards were hauled in by Trason Fuller.

Chico's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.7 points over those games. As for Enterprise, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Chico will head out to face off against Red Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Enterprise does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
