Soccer Recap: Mead Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Mead after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Mt. Spokane Wildcats who were credited with the win. The Mt. Spokane Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Mead Panthers' one. Mead just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Mead's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mt. Spokane, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Mead nor Mt. Spokane have any future games scheduled.
