Baseball Recap: John Paul II Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

John Paul II won the last time they faced Patrick Henry Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The John Paul II Golden Warrriors walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots.

John Paul II let Garrett Heathcott and Jackson Reilley run wild. Heathcott scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Reilley scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave Reilley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Stewart Misko, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

John Paul II's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, John Paul II will take on St. Andrew's at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they will challenge Colleton Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
