Volleyball Game Preview: Central Grizzlies vs. Madera South Stallions + Official Tickets

The Central Grizzlies will square off against the Madera South Stallions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Central has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with five straight losses, while Madera South will come in with three straight victories.

On Monday, Central didn't have quite enough to beat McLane and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Madera South had just enough and edged out Torres 3-2 on Thursday.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-89) Madera South actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-18, 6-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-13.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Madera South, their win bumped their record up to 7-21.

Everything went Central's way against Madera South in their previous meeting back in September, as Central made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
