Softball Recap: Middleburgh Comes Up Short

Middleburgh fell victim to Cobleskill-Richmondville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 21-0. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Middleburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Middleburgh will square off against Berne-Knox-Westerlo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they will take on Fonda-Fultonville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Valley Hawks have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
