Glenbard East has gone a perfect 10-0 against Larkin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rams will head out to take on the Royals at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glenbard East has three straight wins, Larkin has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Glenbard East's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Streamwood 12-0. Considering the Rams have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Larkin might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to Bartlett, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Glenbard East pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Larkin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

Glenbard East came out on top in a nail-biter against Larkin when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
