Basketball Game Preview: El Campo Ricebirds vs. Bay City Blackcats

The El Campo Ricebirds and the Bay City Blackcats will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, El Campo took their game with ease, bagging a 52-14 victory over Needville. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ricebirds.

Meanwhile, Bay City entered their tilt with Sweeny on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 42-33 win over the Bulldogs.

El Campo's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Bay City, they have also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
