Goose Creek got themselves on the board against Philip Simmons on Thursday, but Philip Simmons never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Iron Horses with a sharp 13-0 win. That 13 run margin sets a new team best for the Gators this season.

The team relied heavily on Jaionna Wheatley, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Emery Gandolfo also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Goose Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .652. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

The victory made it two in a row for Goose Creek and bumps their season record up to 4-14. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Philip Simmons, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
