Baseball Recap: Plymouth South Comes Up Short

After flying high against Quincy on Friday, Plymouth South came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Quincy Raiders on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in April.

Plymouth South now has a losing record of 8-9. As for North Quincy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Plymouth South has already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Norwell on the 21st. North Quincy has also already played their next game (against Scituate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
