Basketball Recap: Lee Christian Falcons vs. St. Mary's Saints
Lee Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the St. Mary's Saints and fell 62-12. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-6.
Harley Wicker and Madison Mashburn certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Wicker posted 12 points, while Mashburn scored no points and seven rebounds.
Kate Chamblee was the offensive standout of the contest as she went 5 of 6 on her way to 10 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmy Johnson, who put up four points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

As for St. Mary's, they will venture away from home to face off against American Leadership Academy-Johnston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Mary's is facing American Leadership Academy-Johnston at the right time seeing as American Leadership Academy-Johnston is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
