After each having a week off, the Greene County Tigers and the Miller Grove Wolverines will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greene County will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.

Two weeks ago, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Greene County beat Laney 14-8.

Greene County can attribute much of their success to Travez Gibson, who rushed for 118 yards, and Steve Miller, who picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Greene County's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Laryous Burt was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three sackshimself. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Miller Grove brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They breezed by Stone Mountain at home to the tune of 50-14 two weeks ago. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Wolverines this season.

Greene County's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Miller Grove, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
