Nazareth Area hasn't had much luck against Parkland recently, but that could start to change on Sunday. The Blue Eagles will square off against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Nazareth Area has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Nazareth Area is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Stroudsburg, sneaking past 4-2. The Blue Eagles haven't had any issues with the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Chase Kilareski and Matt Daems did most of the damage at the plate: Kilareski went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Daems went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run. Those four stolen bases gave Daems a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Parkland came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Rovers.
Sawyer Marsteller looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Parkland let Connor Gerhart and Will Dobil run wild. Gerhart went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Dobil got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.
Parkland's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Nazareth Area, their record now sits at 17-6.
Nazareth Area might still be hurting after the 15-6 defeat they got from Parkland in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Blue Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
