Softball Game Preview: Northern Cass Jaguars vs. Lisbon Broncos

The Northern Cass Jaguars will venture away from home to take on the Lisbon Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither Northern Cass nor Lisbon posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Northern Cass fell victim to Central Cass and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Squirrels, falling 16-0. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Squirrels recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Enderlin hit Lisbon with a four-run fifth inning last Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Broncos lost 11-1 to the Eagles. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lisbon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carly Mairs, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Northern Cass now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lisbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
