Needles has gone 10-0 against White Pine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Needles Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the White Pine Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. Needles will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Needles is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Adelson: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Needles blew Adelson out of the water with a 95-25 final score. Fans of the Mustangs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

It was another big night for Michael Burns, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Mills, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 17 points along with six assists and four steals.

While White Pine didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 39-27 win over Round Mountain on Saturday. The Bobcats' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Needles pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for White Pine, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everything came up roses for Needles against White Pine when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured an 86-48 win. Does Needles have another victory up their sleeve, or will White Pine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
