St. Albans extended their postseason success on Sunday against Jackson-Reed. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 2-0 shutout. Give the Bulldogs' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

St. Albans has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Jackson-Reed, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 16 games and leaves them with a 29-5 record.
