Softball Game Preview: Justin-Siena Braves vs. Bethel Jaguars

The Justin-Siena Braves will head out on the road to square off against the Bethel Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Justin-Siena has given up an average of 15.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Justin-Siena is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Casa Grande on Friday. They came up short against the Gauchos, falling 14-1.

Justin-Siena saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caiden Grimmer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Bethel fell victim to Alhambra and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 19-0 to the Bulldogs. The Jaguars were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Bulldogs' pitchers proved too tough.

Justin-Siena's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bethel, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1.
