Basketball Recap: Lynnwood Takes a Loss

If Lynnwood was riding high fresh off their 67-28 takedown of Jefferson last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. 2025 welcomed the Lynnwood Royals with a 69-44 loss courtesy of the Shorewood Stormrays on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Stormrays: they've now lost seven in a row.

Lynnwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Shorewood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Lynnwood will challenge Meadowdale at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meadowdale will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lynnwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shorewood, they will face off against Mountlake Terrace at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Shorewood is facing Mountlake Terrace at the right time seeing as Mountlake Terrace is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
